Why in hell did he never speak just that crap music
Well the name of your channel certainly is spot-on. I feel inspired :)
What was the temperature of the ground/earth when you did this? That would have a big impact. Apologies if you accounted for this in your video, but I don't remember you mentioning that
Very impressed with the build but with no commentary about what you are doing and why, and Also I wanted to see it working and have a good look at the finished article but we just get a couple of glimpses of it finished so I was disappointed.
This is my favourite woodworking channel by a country mile. Thanks for making these videos. 😊👍
This is truly a practical design. Could you be so kind as to provide a source for the timing belt and the corresponding pulleys? Thanks for the video🙂
Looks like Izzy gave you more than inspiration.
Is particle board strong enough for French cleats? I have a bunch of it leftover 😂
I have the same router but my plunge base acrylic is not a circle, and I was wondering from did you get the round acrylic base?
Clever. I’ll try making one. There are no plans for this on your site, but I think I can figure it out from your video. However, I would like to watch you making the bolts you show at 4:41.
Good idea. You need a fence extension to make this usefull else you can not control the cut angel.
Fun project. If you really want an electric elevator, it might be better to user a stepper motor so you can get precise height target. Like 1,8 mm up etc. Else I think the electric part is more fun than usefull compared to a manual adjustment. Also in durability’s
Beautiful. But not so durable in daily use. But looks good as new and fun project.
masterpiece, rad dude
Very nicely done. I appreciate the guidance on making my own French cleat hangers.
You didn't do 45 degrees in the finishin peaces...what?!?!?!?!?!??
Awesome thank you so much!!! Such an incredibly helpful and informative video!!! You just saved me a fortune on unnecessary insulation
as a potter, that clay looks incredible!
I just purchased and downloaded your flip miter saw table plans on etsy. I was looking for these plans as well
I had to watch the video twice to believe it. You built a beautiful, functional, and practical piece of furniture/equipment using pocket holes, and not a single festool product! WITCHCRAFT I TELL YOU! According to some who make such things will tell you it can’t be done. Very nice.
the blue insulation tiles under my intex pool are making a big difference . if i put 1 or 2 solar bubble foils on top at night it helps even more to keep the temperature! but if you cover the top completely the water starts to stink! water with chlorine produces chlorine gasses and they need to escape
salut j'adore se que tu a fait aurai tu les plan stp si c'est possible?😋
Each leg where you put the casters sit on the floor, however that 2x4 that connects the corner legs (the long one) doesn't sit on the floor. Isn't it gonna bent eventually due to weight and no support? Since those 2x4 are about an inch off the floor....just wondering before I start building mine and thank you for replying
You are correct, this became an issue that I later fixed by adding a small block in the middle. This change is also in my plans.
What are the blue spacers you are using?
Not sure of the name of them but they can be bought at normal hardware stores, very common item available in different thicknesses that can be stacked.
Thanks for the explanation time to move forward
No talking ,we are to guess? No thanks Next
Hi. Very nice presentation. What is the name of the bit you are using to make those holes with drill press. I appreciate your input.
Forstner bit? Chamfer bit? Used many different ones :)
The use of the bearings and regularly checking with a centering cone is brilliant! Mychet smart! Tak!
Thank you for a great video. Have been watching cabinet builds for years and have never seen or been made aware of the C tabs on the side of the slides that you can bend out. Very good to know. I had just used some thin strips of wood to bring them inward more. I like you idea better. Thanks. New subscriber.
Thank you. Yes they are very handy!
Nice, and clean workmanship, young man. Well done.
Nice job. Can’t wait to get my new shop done so I can build a nice router table/cabinet.
It make a world of difference! Its so nice to have it ready whenever you need it.
Great video! Really nice idea / design.
Thank you so much ♥
Nice job 👌 But bro…the gloves..
I know :) Many does not approve of them, hehe.
Very nice add-on to your workbench. Are you planning to update the workbench plan that you have on Etsy with this build?
I'm thinking about it, its a lot of work to do because i have two separate plans, one for metric and one for imperial.
@@DesireToInspire1I would really like to purchase the plan as I have already built the workbench using your plan from Etsy
@@DesireToInspire1shouldn’t the software do that for you? Change from metric to imperial then save it as a new file.
Yes that is possible but if i did that then it would not adjust to use normal imperial sizes for lumber as well and you would get measurements like 1 1/61" and that would not be a very professionell plan, would it? =)
Oh - wow, what kind of Circle-Tool is that at 14:40 ? U have a link or a Product Name??
I found it on Temu, its really useful, i hate the normal circle compasses, but this one i love! share.temu.com/cZAHs8ssXKA
Nice, sweet, clean, build. Enjoyed watching you add your new addition to your shop.
In your instruction booklet, you have a small mistake in material need for 140x45 on pg 6. It should be 2x
Thanks i will check that and update! Thanks
Brilliant
Clever router lift. We shared this video on our homemade tool forum last week 😎
It's a wonderful mechanism. Also, because it uses a motor, dust collection may be an issue, as many people have had trouble with.
The motor is sealed and the dust extraction is superb! I'm not worried at all. There is basically no dust in the cabinet and I have no dust extraction from above that I yet have to build.
I know im watching this late....was wondering if theres no support in the middle
Middle of what? I'm always here :)
@DesireToInspire1 Each leg where you put the casters sit on the floor, however that 2x4 that connects the corner legs (the long one) doesn't sit on the floor. Hi. This was an excellent presentation. I have two questions. 1- what is the name of the liquid you put on the wood ? 2- what is the name of the bit you used to screw the insert ?
Lacker, i use it on everything :) No idea what the bit is called.
So how are you not cutting into the template guide? Is it because you made the distance from the thicker wood to the edge of the thin wood to match your edge of router base to the cutting part?
At 3:00 you can see how I trim the base to get the exact distance from the trim bit to the edge of the router base. This way i know that the base always have the same witch as the router base. This only work on round router bases.
@@DesireToInspire1 I went back and saw that, thanks. I just finished gluing it up today and will try it out tomorrow once it's had some time to dry. I panicked for a moment yesterday when I assembled it incorrectly and it only changed size on one plane instead of both. I thought maybe I had done the build wrong since I did it my own way, but then looked again at your video and realized I had just assembled it improperly. Happy I found your video and cant wait to give this a shot. I did have several questions more actually. Since you measured from the edge of the wood to the edge of the bit I assume thins means that you have to stick with the same size bit, at least when routing the edges. Also my router base is about 3 inches wide except for one spot where it is not round but flat. I decided since the flat edge would probably be better to line up with the flat wood that I should just measure for that and turn the router so that edge is always against the edge of the jig.
Nice work,
thats insane wow
Glad you liked it :)
Use canoe joints
I'm loving your videos, great ideas, where do they come from, 🧠🤔.Colin 🏴
Fantastic bench, I love it Colin 🏴
An excellent project that works really well. Let's have more projects, please.
Beautifully done. You did a bang up job with the design and a great job documenting and recording the assembly. Nicely done, thanks!
If you have a second could you answer a question. Would a PWM Controller serve the same purpose as the Relay you installed on yours. I’m trying to plan mine and love your plan but want to add be able to adjust the temp. Thought you may know, if not it’s ok. Thanks
